Full Circle part 8

Bo and Nora reunited
Brittany tried to reach her father

Bo: I knew I should have brought her with! (he continues to try
to call her.)

Nora: (sitting on the couch next to him) Honey...I'm sure she's fine...
I'll try to get in touch with Will, he may know what is going on.

Bo: Damn it! (he shuts his phone off) Thank you sweetheart...

Matt: She wouldn't say what was wrong...but she sounded upset...she said
it was crucial that she get in touch with you...

He walks into his room.

Bo: Sweetheart (looking at Nora) I have to get back to Llanview...if
anything happens to her...

Nora: Oh honey...by all means...go (she kisses him as he continues to
call his daughter) she needs you!

Bo: So do you two...

Nora: Bo...(lightly rubbing his shoulder) I am an adult, so is Matt.
We can take care of ourselves...besides, you cannot tear yourself in two,
can you?

Bo: You sure?

Nora: Bo! Go to your daughter! Get!

Bo: I love you...you know that, right?

Nora: Always...(he takes her in his arms and kisses her) I love you too...

Bo: You will come back to Llanview, right?

Nora: Bo...I have to think about this...I mean, my life is here...my
practice...

Bo: (moves close to her and whispers in her ear) I need you with me...(he kisses her
ear) I need you and Matt with me, Red....I need you...(he kisses her and she goes weak
in the knees)

Nora: Go to Brittany...we'll talk later....(kissing him)we'll talk later...I love you.

Bo leaves the room and on the way to the airport, he calls ahead and has his
plane ready to return to Llanview.

Nora continues to call Will and Jessica's to see if they know what is going on with
Brittany. She finally gets through...

Nora: Will...Hi...its Nora. Do you have any idea what is going on with Brittany?

Will: Hi...We haven't spoken with her since we all left the Palace after the luncheon.

Nora: Hasn't she been staying with you?

Will: No...she hasn't...was she supposed to?

Nora: She told Bo she was staying with you guys...

Will: Where is Bo?

Nora: He was here in Chicago with Matt and I, he called her when he got here...she said
she was with you...

Will: Nora...If she was here, I think I would know. I'll check out the mansion...
Where is Bo now?

Nora: On his way back to Llanview...Brittany call Matt on his phone and said she needed
to talk to Bo...

Will: Why didn't she call him?

Nora: She tried...his phone was off...

Will: Off? Bo had his phone off?

Nora: We wanted some privacy...

Will: We? Privacy? Oh Nora...You and Bo...Nora...This is going to devistate Brittany.

Nora: I'm sorry Will. I wasn't planning on falling in love with my ex-husband, I doubt
it was his plan...

Will: I appologize...I did not mean to judge...what you do is your business, I was thinking
of the fall out. But, I am here for her...

Nora: Thank you Will, you are a great friend for her...and an excellent therapist...your father
would be so very proud of you...

Will: Thanks...I'll keep you posted.

Nora: Thanks...Bye.

Matt enters the room.

Matt: Mom...the detective just called...they have a guy in custody for questioning...they
found the van...

Nora: Do they need us yet?

Matt: He didn't say...but I thnk I want to go down anyway...

Nora: Wait for me...

They head to station headquaters.

A few hours later Bo finally makes it to his home. He sees Britt's Jeep in the car port as he rushes
into the house.

Bo: Brittany! Brittany!!

Brittany: (running in from the living room) Daddy!!

Bo: Sweetheart, what's wrong? Are you ok? What's going on?

Brittany: Oh Daddy...I'm so scared!

Bo: Honey...(he puts his arm around her shoulder and the walk into the living room) what ever it is...
no matter what..we can fix it...now tell me...

Brittany: Oh Daddy...(she starts to cry) I was so scared! I...I...

Bo: Ok sweetie...it's ok...Daddy's here...comforting his daughter)

Brittany: Daddy...promise you won't ever leave me again...I was so alone...

Bo: Sweetie, calm down...your shaking...

Brittany: I was uh-uh-fraid you were never coming b-b-back for me...

Bo: Britt...honey...

Brittany: A-a-and with M-momma gone....oh Daddy!

Bo: Come on...come on...

Brittany: Don't ever go to Chicago again...ok?

Bo: Ok baby...I won't ever go to Chicago again...with your bother and Nora moving back to Llanview,
I won't have too...

Brittany: What? (sitting up and staring Bo right in the eyes) Daddy! They can't move here!! No!! I
forbid it!

Bo: Brittany...baby, you are going to have to come to the understanding that I have needs too...I need to
be with my son...

Brittany: But...Matty's an adult...

Bo: All the more reason I want him near me...I want to be his friend...

Brittany: And why does she have to move here? (pouting with Melanie's awful pouty face)

Bo: Because...

Brittany: Daddy...you cannot carry on with that woman!

Bo: Honey... Nora is a very good friend of mine

Brittany: No she isn't! She's a witch that wants to take you away from me!

Bo: That's ridiculous...Haven't you been talking to Will? Haven't he and Jenn told you
how nice Nora is?

Brittany: Do not sell me a new mother! I am not in the market!

She gets up and runs away from him ad up to her room. Bo decides to call Chicago and fill
Nora in on the latest with Brittany...

Nora: Bo...I am so sorry this is so difficult for her. Maybe we should just...

Bo: Maybe we should just nothing! Third times a charm and I am not about to let you slip
through my fingers again!

Nora: I haven't exactally slipped through them...you kinda flicked me off them like an unwanted
hangnail

Bo: I'm not going to play dueling metaphors...I love you and want you with me and that's that!

Nora: That' that? Bo Buchanan! I am not a piece of meat....I am seriously starting to become
annoyed with your Asa-isms!

Bo: Sorry...are you going to be in to go to the viewing of the will with me? I need you there you
know...moral support.

Nora: Don't you think that is a private matter for you and Brittany?

Bo: I WANT you there...I need you there...

Nora: When?

Bo: The attorney wants to set it up soon...

Nora: Let me know when...I'll be there...representing you...

Bo: Thank you counselor...

Nora: You're welcome Mr. Buchanan...

Bo: I love you...

Nora: So you've said...

Brittany walks into the room.

Bo: I do...and it kills me that we can't be together...

Brittany:(loudly) You think you could wait til my mother is cold before you set the husband trap?

Bo: (to Nora) I'll call you later...bye.

Nora: Bye.

Bo: (to Brittany) That was incredibly rude...

Brittany: And like what she's doing isn't rude?

Bo: What is it that you think she's doing?

Brittany: Can't you see it? All her concern...her care...it's fake...she's just trying
to get you back...she had to wait til Momma was gone, cuz she knew you would never leave
your wife and child...but now...now she doesn't care because momma is gone, aunt Lindsey is gone
and it's just me to fend her off...

Bo: Now you listen to me little girl...I loved your Mom. But I am not going to play into
your pretend world of happy family!

Brittany: We were happy!

Bo: No, you were happy because your mother and I chose to not include you in the problems, unlike
the way I screwed up and involved you brother in my troubles with Nora. I vowed to keep you out
of it. But now I have no choice but to tell you! (starting to raise his voice) Tell you so you'll
stop this vendetta you have against an innocent friend of mine!

Brittany: Daddy, no..stop it...your scaring me!

Bo: You want to make snap judgements...you want to act like an adult...then you'll know the truth like
an adult!

Brittany: (gets up to leave) I'm not listening to this! Mother was a saint!

Bo: Oh no! You sit down and listen! (sits her down) Your mother and I were not happy. We were strained
at best. We had a lot of problems but they had nothing to do with you...they had to do with
the fact that your mother was a very insecure person and your treasured aunt Lindsay did her utmost
to try and drive a wedge between us. For the most part, she succeeded. Your mother never believed
in our marriage, thanks to your aunt.

Brittany: You never loved her did you?

Bo: You want to know? Yes, I did love your mother, I loved her very much, but she was so insecure
so very insecure, she could never just let us live our lives...between your aunt Lindsay and your
mother's first husband, your mother was not a well woman. She had a lot of issues and went to a
lot of therapy...

Brittany: No...you're lying...

Bo: There were many times your mother wanted a divorce. And many times I talked her out of it.

Brittany: No....(she starts to cry) did Nora dream all this up? What kind of hold does she have
on you? (totally losing control and lying on the couch) What kind of hold?

Bo: Brittany...this is ridiculous...I will get you all the help you need, I will be here for you no
matter what, but I will not have you telling me how to live my life. I will be helping Nora and Matt
through this terrible time...and when they feel the time is right to move back here to Llanview,
I'll help them with that also.

Brittany: So their stupid house gets torched and I have t pay for it with my father?
I want to go back to school...I can't be here...I have to go...I can't stay here know
you care more about her than you did my mother!

She gets up and races up to her room.

Bo: Great...great...

Bo's phone rings.

Bo: Hello...

Matt: Dad...it me Matt.

Bo: What's up buddy?

Matt: Pop...they got the guy that broke into the house...

Bo: Matt! That's fantastic! Do you or your mom know him?

Matt: No...but he's a college frat brother of Todd Manning Jr. The kid
sang like a bird. Said Manning contacted him to destroy the house...

Bo: I'm gonna call Llanview PD and see if they can pick up Manning...I'll call you.

Matt: I'll be here!

Bo: Matt...take care of yourself and your Mom...tell her I love her.

Matt: I will. I love ya Pop...

Bo calls the station...

Operator: Llanview Police Department, how may I direct your call?

Bo: Commissioner Vega please.

Operator: Who may I say is calling?

Bo: Bo Buchanan...

Operator: One moment.

Antonio: Bo! You old dog! How are you?

Bo: Fine Commssioner, just fine...and you?

Antonio: Ok I guess...Sophia is miserable...she's about ready to have the babies...

Bo: Twins, right?

Antonio: Yes..and little Anton and Carla are anxiously awaiting their babies!

Bo: How's your Mom?

Antonio: real good, she moved in with us about two months ago...so, what can I help you with?

Bo: I need you to cheeck out Manning Jr. I think he may be behind an arson case in Chicago.

Antonio: Chicago?

Bo: My boy's house was trashed and torched (at that moment, Bo remembers Britt's comment of
the house being torched) and the suspect they got over there said he was a friend of Manning
and doing him a favor.

Antonio: Bo...I am sorry for you son...was he hurt?

Bo: No, he and Nora were here for the funeral, Nora got a call from an Officer Starr...

Bo and Antonio: Officer Starr!

Antonio: I'm on it Commission...I'm on it Bo...

Bo: Keep me in the loop...

Antonio: You got it!

Brittany listened to Bo's conversation from the shadows of the foyer. After he hung up
she walked into the room...

Brittany: You just leave Todd out of this...he didn't do anything!

Bo: What do you have to do with Manning?

Brittany: I...I...nothing..nothing...
